Lakewood's Comprehensive Plan
The Lakewood Comprehensive Plans sets the tone for and guides the development and redevelopment of the City of Lakewood. It is an advisory document that sets policies for community identify, image and design; land use, growth and redevelopment; environment, parks and open space; transportation and infrastructure, and the overall planning process. The Lakewood Comprehensive Plan is a set of goals, policies and action steps that provides guidance to the Planning Commission and City Council when making land use decisions. It is intended to improve and enhance the City’s economic viability, livability and sustainability.
