June 31, 2008 Open House #1 -
North Corridor

An open house for the North Wadsworth Boulevard Corridor Plan was held on July 31, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Lakewood Civic Center. The open house was an opportunity for the public to learn about the Wadsworth Boulevard Corridor planning process and to provide their input on the work the Advisory Committee has completed to date, including the draft vision and goals.

Display boards illustrated background information, survey results, and the draft vision and goals with opportunities for the public to vote on whether or not they liked the goals and to provide open-ended comments. The open house also included a presentation to update the public on the planning process and the work completed so far.

Approximately 65 people attended the open house and the comments and feedback that the public provided will be used by the Advisory Committee as they move forward with fine-tuning the goals and developing the action steps.
