Experience the joy of camping outdoors at the Indian Paintbrush Campground! Tents and recreational vehicles are welcome.

2016 Annual Park Passes are now available for purchase online or at the park entrance station or Visitor Center.

  • Campfires are allowed only in designated rings.
  • Charcoal fires are allowed only in permanent park grills.
  • Personal charcoal grills are not allowed

Cabins rentals available year round (There is no water available in the campground during the winter months. Water is available at the visitor center during regular business hours.)

Two yurts are available by reservation only for a unique camping experience!

  • Accommodates up to four adults
  • 14-foot diameter, with two single bunk beds, chairs and a table
  • Windows and skylight
  • Adjacent picnic table, fire ring and grill

  • No electricity
  • Available April 1-October 31
  • $10 Fee for pets inside yurt
  • Yurts are pet friendly. Up to two dogs are permitted with a $10 nonrefundable fee.


Three cabins are available for reservation.

  • Cabins sleep up to 6 people on bunk beds, and have electricity and heat
  • Adjacent to a picnic table and fire ring
  • Nearby water
  • Available year-round
  • $10 fee for pets inside cabins
  • Cabins are pet friendly. Up to two dogs are permitted with a $10 nonrefundable fee.
  • $55 per night (reservation only)

Campground Fees

  • General: $20/night
  • Annual Pass Holder: $15/night
  • Seniors (62+): $19/night
  • Group Camping (reservation only): $70/night, due at time of reservation
  • Yurts (reservation only): $40/night, due at time of reservation.

Group Camping

One group site is available by reservation only.

  • Holds up to 25 people (larger groups will only be allowed for official scout and youth camps)
  • Electrical hookups
  • Fire rings, grill and picnic tables
  • Nearby water and toilet facilities
  • Available April 1-October 31 (winter camping only available for scout and youth camps)

Campsites, yurts, cabins
Full refunds will be given for camping reservation canceled by 4 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, two full days prior to the first date of your reservation. No refunds will be given after this time. Refunds will not be given once a site is occupied. Refunds will not be given for weather, insects, family emergencies, changes in travel plans or violations or park rules.


Group Camping Area

Reservations canceled two to four weeks in advance of the date of arrival will receive one-half of the reservation fee. No refunds will be given for reservations canceled less than two weeks before the reservation date.
