Invitation to Bid
Notice is hereby given that the City of Lakewood, Colorado will receive sealed bids for Bid #4014 for: FOUNDERS PARK PLAYGROUND RENOVATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY SPECIFICATIONS
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
: The project entails the removal and replacement of an existing playground. The project scope includes demolition of playground equipment, timber edger and sand, basketball goal, concrete walkway, sod stripping, minor earthwork and grading, subgrade prep, new concrete play area and mow curbs, walkways, basketball court, mow curbs, play area drainage and gravel, new play equipment and surfacing, shelter, basketball goal, tables, benches, bike rack, barbeque grill, landscaping, mulch, irrigation modifications and sodding.
Project is to be completed within forty-five (45) days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be on July 18, 2016 at 9AM (MT) onsite at Founders Park located at 7351 West Florida Avenue, Lakewood, CO, to review and discuss the project with city staff.
Bids will be received at the Finance Department Front Desk, 1st Floor, Civic Center South, 480 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226, until 10:00 A.M. (MT) (our clock) on July 29, 2016. Bids will not be accepted after the specified hour and date of bid opening. Bids which are not prepared and filed in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders may be rejected.

JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT
Application 2016-H4059-CO-DJ - Lakewood Police Department
Disparate Allocation – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office
The Lakewood Police Department will be applying for a grant awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Office of Justice Programs. This grant is the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG), Local Solicitation. This grant provides agencies with the flexibility to prioritize and place funds where they are needed the most.
Therefore, anyone wishing to comment on this application may call Cathy Schultz, Police Administrative Coordinator, at 303-987-7371 prior to July 25, 2016.
A public hearing will be held at the Lakewood Police Department, in the Training Room, on July 25, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.
