Notice is hereby given that the City of Lakewood, Colorado will receive Sealed Bids for BID No. 4623 for: GLENNON HEIGHTS POOL BATHHOUSE ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY SPECIFCIATIONS
Bids will be received until 11AM, MT (our clock) on June 6, 2019 at the Finance Department Front Desk, Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226, at which time they shall be publicly opened and read aloud in the Finance Department Conference Room, 1st Floor, Civic Center South Building, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
Bids received after the above specified date and time of bid opening and Bids not prepared and filed in accordance with the "Instruction to Bidders" may be rejected.
A non-mandatory, onsite visit to review and discuss the project will be held at 10AM on May 29, 2019 at the Glennon Heights Pool located at 10600 West Virginia Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80226.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project will abate approximately 6,000 SF asbestos containing CMU skim coat, demolish, and dispose of existing bathhouse (approximately 1,200 SF masonry on concrete slab with wood roof) in accordance with these specifications.
The project is to be completed by August 31, 2019. The Notice to Proceed shall be issued as soon as contract, bonds and insurance is received.

Notice of Public Hearing – Lakewood Planning Department
Notice is hereby given that the Lakewood Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the City of Lakewood Council Chambers, 480 S. Allison Parkway to consider a rezoning proposal by Jack Reutzel of Fairfield and Woods, P.C. for the property addressed as 3840 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Case RZ-18-007. The request is to rezone property from Planned Development (PD) with the underlying zoning of Mixed-Use Employment Suburban (M-E-S) to Mixed-Use General Suburban (M-G-S). The applicant is also requesting a Special Use Permit (SUP) for mini-warehousing in conjunction with the rezoning request, Case SU-18-004.
