Notice is hereby given that the City of Lakewood, Colorado will receive proposals for RFP No. 4267 for: LAKEWOOD HERITAGE CENTER’S NEW PERMANENT MUSEUM EXHIBIT CONSULTANT SERVICES
Proposals will be received at the Finance Department Front Desk, 1st Floor, Civic Center South, 480 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226, until 10AM, MT (our clock) on January 9, 2018. Proposals may not be accepted after the specified hour and date.
The City of Lakewood (the “City”) is seeking experienced museum exhibit design consultants (“Respondents”) to submit proposals (“Proposals”) to provide museum-quality and historical artifact exhibit design, fabrication, and installation services for a new permanent exhibition at the Lakewood Heritage Center (“LHC”) Visitor Center (the “Project”). This Project is in preparation for the City’s 50th anniversary of incorporation, in June 2019 with a complete and final exhibit ready for public access by June 2019.
A pre-proposal meeting to review and discuss the project will be held at 10AM on December 11, 2017, at Lakewood Heritage Center Visitor Center located at 801 S. Yarrow Street, Lakewood, CO 80226.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project consists of removal and replacement of a total of six tennis courts. Four of the courts are located at Daniels Park at 1315 Welch Street and two courts are located at South Simms Park at 544 S. Simms Street. Courts are to be replaces with post-tension concrete courts. Installation will include new nets posts, court fencing, and color coating.
Project is to be completed within One Hundred and Eighty (180) calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed.

The City of Lakewood in partnership with 40 West Arts, seeks to install up to eleven (11) Art Totems at specified locations along the 40 West Artline in the City’s state-certified 40W Arts Creative District. Accordingly, the City is requesting proposals for Art Totem fabrication and installation. Project budget is a not-to-exceed amount of Seventy Thousand ($70,000.00).

Disparate Allocation – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office
The Lakewood Police Department will be applying for a grant awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Office of Justice Programs. This grant is the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG), Local Solicitation. This grant provides agencies with the flexibility to prioritize and place funds where they are needed the most.
Therefore, anyone wishing to comment on this application may call Jacquelyn Winbush, Police Administrative Coordinator, at 303-987-7371 prior to December 18, 2017.
