  • Furniture, mattresses, box springs and bed frames
  • Appliances including stoves, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens and wood stoves
  • Sinks, toilets, bathtubs, carpet, flooring, doors and windows
  • Regular recyclable items such as plastic bottles, newspaper, glass, cardboard and cans
  • Electronics including televisions, computer monitors, computers, LED, LCD and Plasma TVs free ($15 per TV/monitor containing CRT)
  • Landscaping materials and fencing
  • Yard waste including trees, branches, shrubs
  • Scrap lumber or drywall
  • Household chemicals, paint, fuel tanks or cans, propane bottles, light bulbs
  • Gravel, asphalt, rock, sod, earth, concrete, brick, blocks, pavers or roofing material
  • General household trash or loose debris that would normally be picked up by a residential trash service
  • Materials or debris from a private contractor's work
  • Tires

  • Jefferson County provides Yard Waste collection services. Visit their Slash Collection page for more information and event schedules.

  • Get Rid of Old Paint Safely: Got old paint cans stacked up in the garage? As part of Colorado's paint stewardship program, many local paint retailers (paint, hardware and home improvement stores) have volunteered to take back paint at no charge to you. Visit PaintCare.org to find the drop site nearest you.
