Using abundant photographs, Pete will present geography, flora and fauna and discuss the simple clothing, equipment and safety considerations needed to enjoy our incredible backyard to its fullest. He will also speak on hiking strategies such as pacing, timing and seasons. This program is free, but preregistrationis required. Other activities include free snacks, massages and foot care, prizes, giveaways and more! This event is great for adults age 55 and older looking for ways to get involved and be active, or for family members and caregivers of those who may benefit from this information.
