therapeutic recreation program for the City of Lakewood’s Recreation Division.
We provide special and inclusive recreation opportunities to individuals with
disabilities, age 6 through senior adult.
R.I.S.E. believes that
everyone, regardless of ability, deserves choices for health, leisure,
recreation and wellness to enhance quality of life. The goal of R.I.S.E. is to
ensure that all individuals have equal access to activities that interest them

Our year-round programs include recreation and leisure
opportunities for youth and adults of all ability levels, including after

bowling league, field trips to museums, athletic and cultural events, Special
