We offer a variety of educational classes for youth during the year.



Play-Well TEKnologies teaches Pre-Engineering Lego and Engineering Fundamentals to kids using the Lego system to build/design engineering challenges and develop students' problem solving and critical thinking skills in a fun, educational setting. 


Pre- Engineering: Mine, Craft, Build Using LEGO®

Bring Minecraft to life using tens of thousands of LEGO®! Build engineer-designed projects such as motorized Creeper, a portal to the Nether and a moving Minecraft! Create your favorite Minecraft objects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.  Whether you are new to Minecraft and LEGO® or a seasoned veteran, you'll be hooked on the endless creative possibilities.

Ages: 5-7
Fee: $149 Resident, $169 Nonresident

Bashem' Bots Using LEGO®.

Have you ever wanted to learn to make a massive, motorized LEGO® machine? Our Play-Well Engineering instructors guide students in this advanced engineering camp, as they re-engineer standard LEGO® vehicles into mechanized machines that can traverse challenging obstacles, battle against fellow bots and take instructors' collasol creations.

Ages: 5-7

American Red Cross Babysitting training certification course prepares youth to safely and responsibly care for themselves and other children in the absence of parents or guardians. Please bring a sack lunch. Babysitter’s handbook and materials included in class fee.

Ages: 11 and up
Fee: $99 Resident, $125 Nonresident
Dates: January 9, February 7, March 7, April 11, May 16
Time/Day: 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday

Sign Language


In these classes you will learn to fingerspell your own name, the alphabet and numbers as well as full words including colors, people, places, locations, food, animals and much more. Skills are learned through games and activities. All abilities welcome! First time participants will need to purchase the required course book at the first class for $15.

Ages: 14 and up
Fee: $65 Resident, $79 Nonresident
Dates: January 13-February 24 (Beginner), March 24-May 5 (Intermediate)
Registration deadline: January 8 for Beginner, March 19 for Intermediate

Sign Language Practice

Looking to expand your skills but just need a setting in which to practice? This class is for you! Cultivate your skills by signing sentences and stories and playing games. New vocabulary is taught as needed.

Ages: 14 and up
Fee: $65 Resident, $79 Nonresident 
Dates: January 14-February 25, March 25-May 6
