Pay Your Water, Sewer, or Stormwater Bill

You may make a payment in person at our office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Should you wish to drop off your payment after office hours, a drop box is located in the City of Lakewood Public Safety Building at 445 S. Allison Parkway.


You may make a payment by phone during regular business hours using a MasterCard or Visa, debit or credit card, by calling (303) 987-7615. Our hours for credit card payments are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENT PLAN (available for water or sewer customers served by the City of Lakewood Water or Sewer service areas only).

You may sign up for ACH Direct Payment to have water and sewer charges automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. **Please note: this program is not available for payment of your stormwater bill.**

Upon enrolling in the program, your account will be debited each billing cycle, 30 days from when your water and/or sewer account is billed, which is the due date. If the due date is on the weekend or a holiday, the payment will be deducted on the next business day. Your bill will be mailed as usual but will reflect a zero balance due.

You can terminate participation in the program at any time by notifying the Water/Sewer Billing Division in writing. Your request must be received by the 10th day of the month after you have been billed or the termination will not go into effect until the next billing cycle.

The ACH Direct Payment program is free. However, if you have two insufficient fund payments within a twelve-month period, you will be removed from the program. A service charge of $18.00 will be added to your account for each returned transaction.

If participation in the automatic payment program is terminated for any reason, it will be twelve months before you are eligible to participate again.
