Drop-in
and Socialize
We offer a fun, friendly environment for people 50 plus to socialize
and meet friends. Try your hand at Duplicate Bridge, regular card
games, come see a movie or try Table Tennis. Our atmosphere allows
for the freedom to choose from many walk-in activities and clubs.
Grandtimers Club
Every Friday morning is a social time with the Grandtimers. Emphasis
is on socializing, telling stories, and companionship. Enjoy a
wide range of activities such as: cribbage, ceramics, china painting,
needlework, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and embroidery. Club
members are experienced in a variety of projects and are willing
to help you learn. Sweet rolls, donuts, coffee and/or tea are
available.
Sidepockets
Poolroom
Everyone is welcome to drop in for a game of billiards, snooker,
or a friendly game of pinochle or poker. If you like, join a league!
Come socialize, the Poolroom is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
Saturday
Night Dance
Ballroom dancing featuring music from the 40's on. Swing and sway
for three hours and enjoy refreshments, meet new people and have
a really good time listening and dancing to live bands. To find

Sports
Enjoy yourself and stay active. Anyone age 50 plus interested
in playing slow-pitch softball, volleyball, or basketball, call
the Clements Center at 303-987-4823 for more information.
Lounge
Activities
The free 50 plus lounge at Clements Center is open for friendly
board games or cards. Work on a needlecraft project, play chess
or put together a jigsaw puzzle. A lending library of books and
magazines is available as well as vending machines.
Health
Care Services
Visiting Nurse Support Services lets you treat yourself to some
important health screening. Services available include pedicures,
blood pressure checks, urine testing, anemia, blood sugars and
colon cancer check. Health history and examinations, health education,
flu shots, referral as needed to other community and health care
services are offered 9 a. m. - 3 p. m. on the first Thursday of
the month. To make an appointment or for more information call

Blood Pressure screening is performed every third Monday of the
month from 12:30 - 2 p. m.
Massage
Therapy
Let the skilled hands of a trained massage therapist work the
kinks out! Call for an appointment to meet your needs. Massages
are available for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 90 minutes.
Volunteer
Opportunities
Volunteers are welcome at the Clements Center. Opportunities include
travel escort, driving, and VOA meal site, receptionists for front
desk, and clerical support. Call 303-987-4820 for more information.

Services
Clements Center offers free notary services to people age 50 plus.

Tax
Assistance
American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) provides free tax
preparation assistance between February and April.
