The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin repaving South Wadsworth Boulevard from Dartmouth Avenue south to Park Hill Avenue. To lessen the impact on traffic, CDOT has required the contractor to perform the work at night, and the City has granted the request to work at night and on Sunday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The project is expected to begin Aug. 17 and continue until Oct. 30. Milling, which removes old asphalt, will occur first. The project also will include installing fiber optic conduit from Jefferson to Mansfield avenues. The contractor has been required to notify nearby residents, businesses and affected community members of the project.
