Continuing its long history of youth and adult dance classes, Lakewood Heritage, Culture & the Arts (HCA) is excited to announce the creation of a new dance studio opening at Lakewood Cultural Center in January.  Join us at the free studio opening reception 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway.

The new studio space will house the existing programs currently occurring at Washington Heights Arts Center and new programs designed to enhance the current offerings.  Classes include ballet, tap, belly, swing, ballroom for adults and youth and creative movement and jazz for kids.

“The studio at the Lakewood Cultural Center will help us improve the student and parent experience in an already successful program,” says Nathalie Renfroe, cultural programs coordinator.  “This new studio connects students to a beautiful venue that allows them to experience the possibility of a full dance career.  In addition, we are thrilled that the Cultural Center provides a much more comfortable space for parents to wait during class, offering art galleries, a coffee shop and free Wi-Fi.”
