Older Adult Wellness Fair
Join us for the 2017 Older Adult Wellness Fair on Friday, May 19 from 9 a.m.-noon at Charles Whitlock Recreation Center. There will be activities and free demo classes, balance and strength fitness tests by personal trainers, health assessments, blood screenings, more than 70 local vendors and resources and more! You'll have the opportunity to purchase discounted facility passes and training packages, and there will be free massages, prizes and giveaways.
If you are 55 or better, we invite you to join us for activities you’ll love. Keep your mind sharp and your body active and you’ll always feel young! The Clements Community Center offers a full array of classes including:
Support Services & Nutrition Program
The Clements Community Center Reach out Office Provides information and referral to over 3500 programs including “Benefits Check-up” for people 55 or older such as housing, transportation and in home assistance. The Volunteers of America dining room offers hot, nutritious meals for people age 60 or older and includes live music and other fun activities before and after the meal.

Outdoor Recreation & Travel
Join our fun group of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. Enjoy concerts, plays, scenic tours, museums, casinos and more with the Clements Community Center travel program.

Help is closer than you think! Do you know that you may be eligible for short-term confidential counseling at no fee? Lakewood Youth and Family Services offers eligible City program participants with short-term confidential counseling services provided by licensed mental health professionals. Please call 303-987-2490 and ask to speak with a counselor for more information and eligibility requirements.
