Foothills Animal Shelter

Foothills Animal Shelter (FAS) is located at 580 McIntyre St. in Golden, Colo., in the northwest corner of the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, south of West 6th Avenue., and west of Indiana Street. The shelter serves as the animal impoundment facility for all jurisdictions in Jefferson County. Completed in August 2010, it replaces the Table Mountain Animal Center. This new state-of-the art facility houses lost and found pets and offers a variety of adoptable pets needing their "forever" families.
