Rooney Road Recycling Center The Rooney Road Recycling Center recycles household chemicals and wastes (for example, items you wouldn’t want kids to get into) and electronics.
Quail Street Recycling Center The Quail Street Recycling Center accepts sorted cardboard, paper, aluminum beverage cans, scrap metal, glass jars and bottles, and plastic bottles.
Christmas Tree Recycling The City of Lakewood will offer tree recycling from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, for Lakewood residents.
Free leaf recycling for Lakewood residents begins Nov. 16 Lakewood’s free leaf recycling event is part of an initiative to support residents’ fall cleanup and spread awareness about the proper disposal of leaves. This year’s leaf drop-off will take place from Nov. 16 to Nov. 25, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at the city Greenhouse, 9556 W. Yale Ave. Staff will be available on Saturday Nov. 16 and 23 only.
