Narrative Identity through the Figure - Juried by Laura Phelps Rogers
The goal of this year's annual sculpture show, through the vision of the guest juror, is to use the figure as a means of exploring identity. The artists are challenged to recall past experiences and through the use of the figure, build a biographical or autobiographical story. That story is meant to turn views into visual listeners and evoke emotions and thoughts about one's own self.
Free and open to the public Mon- Fri 8 a.m - 5 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. -2 p.m. from June 6 - August 17

Over the past several years, her work has focused around metal casting, casting through subsititution and combining cast materials with mixed media.
