Brilliantly adapted from the Academy Award-winning animated film, this much-loved spectacle has thrilled more than 20 million people worldwide with show-stopping musical numbers, astonishing sets, lavish costumes and never-before-seen magic and special effects.

Belle, a young woman in a small, provincial town, meets the Beast, in reality a young prince whose lack of compassion has trapped him in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and to be loved, the spell will be broken and he will be transformed back to his former self. But time is running out, and if the Beast does not learn his lesson, he will be doomed for all eternity.

Beauty and the Beast stars Staci Jackson as Belle, Seth Caikowski as Beast, John Riggs as Gaston and includes all the songs from the film, including "Be Our Guest," "Gaston," and, of course, "Beauty and the Beast."

Performance Now Theatre Company has produced 17 major musicals, a comedy play, a Broadway Revue, and a Hollywood revue. These productions altogether have included more than 400 actors, 30 people with production responsibilities, and live music for each performance.

Every season they produce a show that includes several youth in the cast. These young actors can learn many aspects of theater, including acting, singing, dancing, auditions, performance, professionalism, make-up, and tech work. Additional directors, choreographers, and a tech crew are all selected from the highly talented pool of local artists.
