Mayor Delivers State of the City Address

Mayor Bob Murphy delivered the annual “State of the City” address on Monday, March 24, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council chamber before the regular Council meeting. The address was carried live on KLTV8 and also online at Lakewood.org via webstreaming. The speech remains available for on-demand viewing online by clicking the link above.

In his first State of the City address, Mayor Murphy looked back at the events of 2007, charted the agenda for the future and outlined some of the challenges that are ahead for the City of Lakewood.

The public and members of the media were invited to attend the speech at Lakewood City Hall, 480 S. Allison Parkway.
