Public Invited to Last Meeting on Future of City's Parks, Recreation, Heritage & Cultural System

Join the Department of Community Resources at our final public meeting to review the Comprehensive Master Plan, Thursday, February 7, from 6 to 8pm at the Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway.

The meeting will focus on the goals and objectives for the Comprehensive Master Plan regarding Lakewood's parks, trails, open space, recreation, heritage and cultural facilities and services offered by Lakewood's Department of Community Resources. During the past year, the Department has been engaged in a comprehensive master planning process conducted by GreenPlay, a nationally recognized consultant.

Residents, those who use Lakewood's facilities, business community representatives and other organizations, as well as groups who work with the Community Resources Department, are encouraged to attend and to provide additional comments.
