Caretakers Cottage

The rehabilitation of the exterior of the Caretaker’s Cottage located on the grounds of the Lakewood Heritage Center is underway and the first phase is now complete. The first phase addressed foundation and structural repairs including roofing, siding, site work, exterior paint and some interior drywall. Residents will now notice a refreshed exterior view and new landscaping. Future phases will address the interior rehabilitation and access. This project is paid for in part by a History Colorado State Historical Fund Grant.
