PROGRAMMING
PRODUCED LOCALLY
KLTV8 provides
a variety of programming, currently we produce three series programs:
Spotlight with Mayor Steve Burkholder, Let's Talk with Ed Sardella and
City Scene.
City
Scene
Don't know where to
go for current local information about the City of Lakewood? KLTV8's new
program "City Scene" will cover news and events that you won't
see on other channels. This program is dedicated to covering news in our
city from: city council meetings, cultural events, crime prevention, fun
activities, to a calendar of upcoming events. City Scene will be taped
twice a month and a new edition will air every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays
at 5:00pm. Catch the replays Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:00pm and Sundays
at 11:00am.
Let's
Talk with Ed Sardella
Our guest on Let’s Talk with Ed Sardella in August is Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper. Ed and Mayor Hickenlooper discuss the details of preparing for the upcoming DNC and how the event will affect the entire metro area. As one of the key people who helped attract the convention to Denver, and as an integral person in its coordination, Mayor Hickenlooper is one of the best people to address the opportunities and concerns the DNC will bring.
Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7:30pm.
City Council
Meetings
Watch the City Council meetings live at 7PM on the second and fourth Mondays
of each month to keep informed about important issues in Lakewood. Replays
Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12:00pm.
City Council
Study Sessions

Mondays of each month to keep informed about important issues in Lakewood.

Commission Meetings

meetings. LIVE the first and third Wednesday of the month with replays
Thursdays at Noon and Fridays at 7:00pm.
Metro
Voices
This 30-minute program is produced in coordination with the Greater Metro
Telecommunications Consortium (GMTC). Each program is of regional interest,
and typically addresses important topics that might otherwise not be fully
explored by other media. Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7:00pm.
Spotlight
on Lakewood
With the Democratic National Convention visiting metro Denver for the first time in 100 years, Mayor Bob Murphy discusses what it means to Lakewood with Communications Director Chris Lopez. In another segment the Mayor talks to Jeff Lamontagne, Executive Director for the Second Wind Fund, a Jefferson County group that helps troubled teenagers who might be at-risk for suicide. Mondays at 5:00pm and Thursdays
at 6:00pm.
