Recognition
We have received several awards for our work, including the "Pegasus Award of Excellence in Government Broadcasting", and several first place awards from NATOA, Axiem, and Communicator Awards.

Partnerships
We partner with other cities in and out of the metro area to exchange and obtain programs. KLTV8 is a part of the GMTC (Greater Metro Telecommunications Consortium) and works cooperatively to produce a series of cable television programs that are of regional interest, and typically address topics that might not otherwise not be fully explored by other media.
