Go Your Own Way down memory lane to a time when Bad Company didn’t refer to your nosy house guests and when Dreams of Silver Springs and Seven Wonders filled the airwaves. Buckle up for this slammin’ summer kick-off event featuring some far out and funky tunes honoring 70s music icon Fleetwood Mac and supergroup Bad Company. If you still Can’t Get Enough, then dive into the first ever summer blockbuster; Jaws. This iconic Steven Spielberg feature broke box office records in 1975 becoming the highest grossing film of its time.

The evening will feature local food truck fare and Lakewood brews available for purchase alongside free family activities and kids crafts all evening long. It’ll be out of sight!

Music | 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Kick off the evening with Bad Colorado, Colorado's Bad Company tribute band. The main event will feature the iconic hits of Fleetwood Mac which were born in the 70s and continue to be heard throughout the airwaves today. This stellar set will be performed by Colorado's own Crystal Visions.

This classic Steven Spielberg feature became the highest grossing film ever at the time of it's release and was the first movie to earn $100 million at the box office. It's considered the first ever summer blockbuster.

When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature.
