Job Summary
This position acts as primary support to the Probation Department in the management of essential court and probation functions. Acting as liaison between the Court, Probation Officers, City Attorneys and all parties having business with the probation department. Assistance is provided to customers in-person, over the telephone, via internet and by mail. Maintains Probation Officers’ calendars, schedules appointments with defendants, assists with front desk operations. Maintains a safe work environment. Reports problems or concerns immediately to the Court Marshal and supervisor. Criminal background checks are required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer criminal justice course work at the college level or college degree in any discipline. Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
