Information on Citizen Initiative Received September 20, 2024:
On September 20, 2024, the petition representatives for Save Open Space Lakewood timely submitted signed petitions with the City Clerk’s Office. Pursuant to Section 2.52.090(A) of the Lakewood Municipal Code (LMC), the City Clerk is required to make an initial sufficiency determination on the filed petitions and report the results to the City Council within 20 days of the petitions being filed. Attached is the Initial Sufficiency Report submitted to the City Council on October 7, 2024 and reported publicly to the Council at the October 7, 2024 Council meeting.
