Save the date! The 49th Annual Cider Days is scheduled for October 4 & 5, 2025.

About the event 

Celebrating Lakewood’s agricultural heritage with an entertaining mix of live performances, activities and tasty harvest treats, the annual Cider Days festival offers fun and excitement for the entire family!

This event includes tractor pulls and vintage power displays, children's activities, historic demonstrations and a unique variety of exhibitors and vendors. The Cider Days festival wouldn’t be complete without everything apple, including apple pressing, cider and a variety of apple goodies.

Cider Pressing 

Adults and children press apples.

Bring your own apples from home or buy them from the Ela Family Farm stand on site! Either way, don't forget a jug so you can take your freshly pressed cider home with you! Parties will be limited to one 5-gallon bucket of apples each. For pressing larger quantities, join us to press on September 20 and October 19. More info at Lakewood.org/CiderPressing.


Apple Pie Eating Competition | 3 p.m.

Pie Eating ContestJoin us for the annual Apple Pie Eating Competition! Drop your name in the entry bowl anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the gazebo for a chance to participate.

Separate contests for children and adults (12 ) feature exciting apple themed prizes. Contest begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday!

Tractor Pull

Join the Rocky Mountain Tractor Pullers Association in Colorado’s largest tractor pull. The tractor pull takes place throughout the festival (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) both Saturday and Sunday.

Bike to Cider Days

We’ll store your bike for free while you enjoy the festival. Drop your bike at the Bike Valet located in front of Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park (at 801 S. Yarrow St.), and we’ll check it for safe keeping until 5 p.m. both days. See map for exact location.

All riders will receive a coupon for $1 off their first cup of hot or cold Cider (offer not valid for hard cider.)
