Virtual Class FAQs
IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOUR EMAIL IS UPDATED IN YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT WHEN REGISTERING
How to update your email
All of your account settings can be accessed through the "My Account" button. Go to your user information and click the pencil to edit your information. Scroll down to where it says email and replace your old email address with the email address you would like associated with your account.
How do virtual programs work?
Most virtual classes are offered on Zoom. The instructor will host the program on Zoom, sending an email 60 minutes before it starts in order to allow you to join. Drop-in fitness class participants will get a link the morning of the class.
How do I register?
You can register for virtual programs via our online registration site at Lakewood.org/Register or by calling 303-987-7800, just like you would an in-person program. Registration closes at 5 p.m. the day before the program starts.
Note: If you are eligible for SilverSneakers, Silver & Fit, or RenewActive but do not currently have an account with Lakewood Recreation, or you are not sure if you are eligible for those programs, please email CamFer@Lakewood.org.
What do I need to do to prepare?
1. Update your email address in your online account.
You will be emailed a Zoom link before your class. Your email MUST be up-to-date in your online account in order to receive this link. To update your email, sign into your online account, then select 'my account' and update the household information with a correct email.
2. Download Zoom.
Be sure to download Zoom before the first class starts. Visit Lakewood.org/Zoom for video tutorials.
3. Check your email 60 minutes before the class starts.
Your instructor will send an email to the email address listed in your online account 60 minutes before the class begins. Drop-in fitness class participants will receive a link the morning of the class.
