Carmody Recreation Center

Located at 2200 S. Kipling St., Carmody offers a cardio and weight area, aerobics and fitness studios, gyms and indoor pickleball courts, a unique 50-meter indoor pool, an outdoor pool and spray pad and an outdoor fitness pad. The indoor pool has two 25-yard lap lanes open Monday through Thursday until 7:30 p.m.

General admission classes require pre-registration, up to 8 days in advance. Call 720-963-5360 for same-day registration.

Visitors are expected to adhere to all facility rules and the department's code of conduct. Alcohol is not allowed.

Building Entry and ID Check-in

All visitors will enter through the front doors. Bring your Lakewood recreation ID card to check yourself in at the front desk. If you do not have a card, staff will issue you a new one on your next visit.

Class Registration

Pre-registration is required for fitness classes, including general admission classes and aqua fitness. General admission registration can be made up to 8 days in advance. For same-day registration, call 720-963-5360.

FreeMotion Equipment

FreeMotion exercise equipment was installed in the center in early 2022. Learn how to properly use this equipment by watching the video below. If you need further assistance, stop by the front desk.
