Teen Room

Green Mountain Recreation Center offers a space for teens age 13-18 on Monday through Friday to spend their free time playing games, reading books and socializing. Games range from videos games to board games to card games. The space includes a Pop-a-Shot, Dungeons and Dragons and more.

Aug 22 – Back to School Game Night

Summer can’t possibly be over already! Join in on one last hurrah of summer with Back-to-School Game Night. Bring a friend and ring in the school year with one last big summer bash!

Sept 26 – Mario Kart Tournament

You haven’t raced on this track before! Rev your engines for a Mario Kart tournament with a twist! Bring a friend and challenge other racers to see who is the best and who can handle our special vision goggles.

Oct 17 – Chopped Hallow-teen

Can you handle the spooky Chopped kitchen? Show off your creative skills with our Candy Chopped tournament and costume contest for this Hallow-teen party! Earn prizes, snack on crazy candy concoctions, and howl in the spooky season.

Nov 20 – Dungeon & Dragon Game Night

Adventurers assemble! Whether you are a seasoned traveler or rosy tourist, you must band together to help save the afflicted. Explore, problem-solve, and battle against creatures beyond your wildest imagination. No experience required!

Dec 19 – Duck, Duck, Gift!

No white elephants at this party! Bring a gift and battle it out with a new game, Duck, Duck, Gift. Players must be quick on their feet to keep their prize or face the wrath of the Santa Goose.

Jan 22 – Blind Karaoke competition

Think you know all the latest hit songs on the charts? Test out your knowledge with a Blind Karaoke competition but watch out! Get the song wrong, you’ll have to pay the piper.

Feb 13 – Smash Bro Tournament

Kisses for Valentine’s Day? Nah, kisses for Smash Bro betting! Challenge your friends to a Smash Bro tournament and bet your kisses candy on your favorite avatars. Winner takes all!

Mar 11 – Just Prom Dance Off

Are your dance moves worthy of a promenade? Refresh your limbs with a dance off! Bring a friend and team up to compete for the ultimate prize, the President of Prom!

Apr 28 – Destress the Test

Exam season hitting you hard? Need a study break? Stretch out and relax with calming music, yoga session, and surprise guest!
