Collaborative Partnerships at Work

In partnership with the Jefferson County Public School System Drop Prevention Office, a drop out prevention specialist conducts monthly meetings with court or probation referred youth at the Lakewood Probation Office. The purpose of this collaborative effort is to provide those youth on probation, who are struggling in the academic environment, with a “roadmap” to graduation as well as information and referrals to alternative education services, interventions and resources available within Jefferson County Public Schools.
