Litter Cleanup Kit

The Litter Cleanup Kit is available to Lakewood residents who are interested in making an extra effort to keep their neighborhoods nice and tidy. Each kit has the necessary supplies for a small group of volunteers to safely pick up and bag trash. Kits can easily be checked out from Lakewood Civic Center and returned after use. Thank you for leaving your community a little more beautiful!

Kit contents:

• Five-gallon bucket
• Trash bags
• Litter grabbers
• Gloves
• Safety vests
• Safety tips
• Hanging scale
• Evaluation form, clipboard, pen

Policies:

• Kits must be requested at least one week in advance.
• Residents must pick up and drop off kits at Lakewood Civic Center North, 470 S Allison Parkway, during business hours, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
• Kits can be checked out for up to one week.
• Residents are responsible for disposing of trash.
• Please adhere to basic safety precautions around traffic and potentially hazardous materials.

Procedures:

• Fill out a request form.
• After receiving confirmation from city staff, pick up the kit on your scheduled date.
• Perform cleanup.
• Return kit and completed evaluation form.
