Construction on an apartment building at the Lakewood-Wadsworth Station has currently stopped, and the city has been in regular contact with the owner of the project to discuss keeping the site secure until construction restarts. The address for this development includes both 1221 and 1225 Wadsworth Blvd. When the project is completed, the official address will be 1221 Wadsworth Blvd.

This privately owned commercial property being developed by Breckenridge Multifamily Lakewood Colorado, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This property is not owned or maintained by the City of Lakewood.
In early 2024, construction of the property was paused as the developer encountered financial-related challenges. The project was not halted by the City of Lakewood and the project is not out of compliance with its permit at this time. The city engineer for developments will continue to work with the owner to understand the path forward with the site and its construction.
