Drug Take-Back Day

Do you have old medicine around your house? We can help you dispose of it safely! We're hosting a drop off site for the upcoming National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The collection location will be the upper parking lot at the Lakewood Police Department, 445 S. Allison Pkwy. Members of the Police Department will be on hand to collect your unused over-the-counter and prescription medications for proper destruction.

Items that cannot be accepted include; needles and sharps, mercury thermometers, oxygen containers, pressurized canisters (such as inhalers), illicit drugs, chemotherapy/radioactive substances.
