January 2025 Update Construction on a new multi-use trail along West Jewell Avenue in Kendrick Lake Park has begun this month. The trail will fill in the sidewalk gap on the south side of Jewell from Kipling to Hoyt streets. The outside westbound lane closest to the park could be periodically closed to allow for construction access, but no full road closures or detours are expected as part of this project. Access to the park will remain open throughout construction. Construction is expected to be completed in March.
