Traffic Signal Replacements

February 2025 Update
Construction for the replacement of traffic signals at these intersections are scheduled to begin April 7. Along with these replacements, sidewalk and Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramps will be replaced adjacent to the new signals. Drivers in the area may experience temporary lane shifts or closures, but no full road closures or detours are expected as part of this project. Pedestrians may be detoured to opposite sides of the street to allow for ramp and sidewalk construction. Construction is expected to last for two-three months.

January 2025 Update
Traffic signals at the intersections of West Alameda Avenue and Union Boulevard and Union at West Mississippi Avenue are scheduled to be replaced over the next several months. Along with these replacements, sidewalk and Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramps will be replaced adjacent to the new signals. Drivers in the area could experience temporary lane shifts or closures, but no full road closures or detours are expected as part of this project. Pedestrians could also be detoured to the opposite sides of the street during ramp and sidewalk construction. Construction is expected to begin in February and last for two-three months.
