The City of Lakewood’s #ShopLakewood campaign celebrates and supports our local businesses, highlighting the unique shops, restaurants, and services that make our community thrive. By shopping local, you help keep dollars in Lakewood, support jobs, and contribute to a vibrant local economy.

Belmar is an open-air shopping district in Lakewood, featuring more than 80 shops and restaurants, galleries, gift shops, doctors’ offices, spas, and a movie theater. It is also home to Paul Mitchell School and Google Fiber’s headquarters. The district boasts a beautiful outdoor plaza area that hosts a summer concert series and a winter ice skating rink. This 100-acre redevelopment site replaces the former Villa Italia Mall, located at the southeast corner of West Alameda Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. Belmar values tenant diversity and has a strong representation of locally owned and operated shops.

Colorado Mills
Colorado Mills is a 1.2 million square-foot indoor shopping center featuring popular and fashion-forward tenants. It is conveniently located off the I-70 West and Sixth Avenue corridor, just 7 miles west of Downtown Denver. As Denver's only indoor outlet mall, it features the largest variety of stores, with more than 160 options. Entertainment choices include the Regal United Artists and IMAX movie theater, The Bounce Place – a bounce and arcade space – and a play area sponsored by the Denver Museum of Nature and Science called the “Mars Outpost.” Colorado Mills is situated on Lakewood's western border, at the edge of the foothills. Adjacent to the mall is the Promenade at Denver West, offering additional retailers and restaurants.

Denver West Village

Denver West Village is conveniently located near Colorado Mills and offers a vibrant shopping and entertainment experience. Its distinctive architectural design creates an inviting atmosphere, enhancing the appeal of its diverse selection of more than 25 stores, restaurants and cafes. Visitors can enjoy a range of dining options, from casual eateries to sit-down restaurants, as well as popular retail destinations.

Lakewood City Commons
Lakewood City Commons is a 45-acre site west of Belmar that offers a variety of national retailers, grocery stores and dining options. Located near the Civic Center and library, it serves as a central gathering spot for shopping and dining.
 
Colfax and Wadsworth

Shopping along Colfax Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood offers a diverse mix of local businesses, national retailers and unique dining experiences. Colfax Avenue features eclectic shops, vintage stores and cultural attractions, while Wadsworth Boulevard provides convenient access to popular shopping centers, services and well-known brands. Together, they create a vibrant and accessible shopping destination for residents and visitors alike.

Belleview Shores & Marston Plaza
Belleview Shores and Marston Plaza are two well-located neighborhood shopping centers serving the south Lakewood community. Together, they offer a convenient mix of national retailers, local businesses, dining options and essential services. Situated near major thoroughfares and surrounded by residential neighborhoods, these centers are easily accessible and provide a reliable destination for everyday errands, casual meals and quick shopping trips. Their diverse tenant mix and ample parking make them valued hubs for both convenience and community connection in southwest Lakewood.
