Zoning Review Applications are now online on eTRAKiT
Zoning Review applications for Lakewood have moved to eTRAKiT, the city's new planning, permitting and inspecting solution. For additional information about eTRAKiT, including information on how to set up an account, please visit the eTRAKiT at Lakewood webpage.
PROJECTS
The following applications can be found under Projects in eTRAKiT:
- Comprehensive Sign Plan - Used for large developments with a creative sign program
- Non-Conforming Use - Used to document existing land uses not allowed in a current zone district
ZONING REVIEW
The following applications can be found under Projects in eTRAKiT by selecting "Zoning Review" from the Project Type dropdown menu. In addition to the eTRAKiT application, supplemental forms for these zoning reviews can be found on the eTRAKiT at Lakewood webpage under the "Supplemental Forms for eTRAKiT" heading:
- Accessory Dwelling Unit - Used for supplemental standards for adding a "Mother-in-Law" type unit to a property
- Comprehensive Sign Plan - Used for large developments with a creative sign program
- Group Home - A supplemental form used in the review of group homes
- Large Accessory Structure - Used for adding a large accessory structure
- Short-Term Temporary Use- Used for short-term special events
ZONING VERIFICATION LETTER
Request a written letter verifying the zone district, land uses, know violations, special use permits, or non-conforming uses that affect a specific property.

- Small Animal Permit - Used to obtain a permit for chickens(hens), ducks, dwarf goats, and apiaries (bees)
